SLOANE BOUCHEVER was the inaugural artist in the Featured Artist Series.
He was born in New York City in 1958 and began painting in oils at the age of 13. He started life drawing classes at 14, and went on to receive his BFA in studio art from Trinity College in 1981 where he studied under "color field" painter George Chaplin, a disciple of Josef Albers.
Bouchever lived and painted in Florence, Paris, and Barcelona for the better part of 11 years during the 80's and 90's. His work is featured in numerous collections throughout the US and Europe and he has participated in many solo shows and group exhibitions over the past 40 years. He currently lives in the charming historic town of Bisbee, Arizona.
His exhibit, Goddesses, was featured in the Print & Stitch gallery through January 2019. As with all members of the Featured Artist Series, Print & Stitch will work with Bouchever to create a limited edition run of items featuring his artwork.
